Still just beating on my monstrosity (which came with the above combo on the stock 98 undercarriage). I need to do shocks and steering components soon as both are getting sloppy.

Had a nice day yesterday so I tore all the door panels and back seat out of the truck and got all the doors covered with Kilmat. Did the outer and inner shell on all of them. Just the doors being done is a huge improvement. Probably gonna end up having to wait a while to do the rear of the cab and the floor cause the cold looks like it might stick around for a while. Also got new stereo head unit installed. The new EQ, wiring and speakers are also in the works for later.

Got links? How do you like they stuff compared to the big brands? I was looking at some on eBay but they are cheap which has me wondering if it's worth it.

Replaced all the clips in the front door panels. The front panels take 13 clips a piece for a total of 26. My local Auto parts store sell 2 in a pack for $5 and they don't fit right (Advance and Auto Zone). So it would be $65 before taxes to do the front panels only. So I bought 4 sets of 50 off of eBay for under $10 shipped (total of 200 clips). They fit right and not the door panels don't fall when I shut the door. Here is the link if anybody is wondering (FYI I'm so cheap I squeak when I walk but will only buy them if they are good and these are): https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F142637179510

This is the stuff I got.
Amazon Amazon

This is my first experience with this stuff so I couldn't tell how it compares to others. The reviews seem to be pretty favorable, plus this was about the top of my budget I wanted to go with doing this. There are 34 sheets in a box(I think) and the doors took me about 40 sheets. I got 2 boxes of the stuff and figure I can do the rest of (or close enough) what I want to cover.
But again, really happy with it.
oh, I'm a quad cab btw

I had thought about doing this for a long time and always thought it sounded like a pain in the *** , but once you get into it, it's kinda fun.

It would be for my quad cab to. Thanks! What speakers are you going with and what do you plan on doing for the wiring?

Actually I said new wiring but I'm just gonna splice into the original speaker wire where easily accessible and extent to the amp (I said EQ on accident). Crutchfield made an adapter for me to plug new unit into my old wiring and I figured this was easier than running fresh stuff up behind the dash. Thinking the original wire is fine to run into the amp. I didn't go crazy with anything. Went JBL-gx-602 in the back door, MTX- Term69's in front. No subwoofer. It's a 60w per channel set up

I thin k the amp is gonna go under pass seat. It's the only place it wont get smashed with tools
