well it wasnt today but starting Last Friday, I took off the intake valve covers and rockers and valve springs, changed all the valve seals, then i snapped a bolt off into the plenum pan..took all day to get out after i snapped off the bolt into the thermostat neck lol...

put in the 180 stat, finally finished the plenum gasket, put everything back together, had a problem with valve lash, took valve covers back off, figured out (thanx to this site) they get torqued down, changed the oil and filter and put in new plugs

took out seats and carpet and headliner... powerwashed the carpet, took apart the headliner pulled off the sagging stained fabric scraped off all the foam , used 4m spray glue and new cloth for a custome new headliner...(for under 30 bucks)

all in all took 6 straight days but all turned out great,... you tube video to follow

Pulled my transfer case out and found out that I need to make a minor change to my little DIY that I did. It's much easier to pull that thing if you leave the crossmember and transmission mount in place.

Got a little mud on the tires. I was only trying to get closer to the river. Turns out the trail goes through the river. Hell, why not?
