Traded in an old century camper top from a ford long bed for a new over-the-rail drop-in plastic bedliner for the truck today. U guys would not believe the hell I went through to get the toolbox on and mounted without cutting gapping holes for the mounts. Still not a single hole drilled in my bed caps though.

Default Tonneou cover

Finished the airbrush work on Tonneou cover and cleared It finally. Have a trip planned next week to ride the bikes down to Hot sprinks, Arkansas for a party week. Plan on doing the Airbrush work on the bed and reclearing it when i get back! That is as long as I keep the rubber down on the road and not my head!!

Ok how did you manage to get a toolbox in the bed and keep it there without drilling holes in your bed?? I want a toolbox but I can't bring myself to drill holes in a perfectly good bed.

The box I installed came with hook bolts that catch underneath the bed rails and have flat washers and bolts that go inside the box.

Same here, mine mounts the same way. It's been mounted there solid going on 6 years now, came with little foam pieces that get compressed between the rails and box as you crank down on the bolts.

Mine's a lot like the others who've responded, but I've got a BackRack which leave the j-bolts that came with the Delta box too short. I couldn't find any suitable j-bolts at the hardware store, so I got hook bolts, rebent the hooks into J's, and covered them with some stout vinyl tubing. With four of them on there I think it'd take a wreck much more violent than I'd survive to knock the toolbox loose. Not that I intend to test my hypothesis.

I bought a mount kit at AZ which is basically to plastic blocks that clamp together at the bed rail. Then the outside block has two holes (horizontal) where you mount the box over top and bolt through the holes. The J hooks are the cheaper option that do the exact same thing.
