Peeked down into the plenum to find enough oil to run a small car. Hughes, here I come.

Alright, not THAT much. But plenty. New to the forum, been here a few days just soaking up as much knowledge as I can. Decided it's time to pop my posting cherry.

Welcome!!!
With 260,000 I'd imagine that there is enough oil in there to BP to feel good about their leak.

Bulging disk is fairly standard. A fair few folks have them, but, they don't cause any trouble. (been there, done that, quit walking for two months....) That was just the warm up though. Now, come to find out..... I have MS. Certainly explains a lot...... (been dealin' with it for about 5 years now..... pain in the keester, but, I have adjusted. No worries. )

Got a new toolbox.

I'm very happy to get the tools and whatnot out of the back seat where they would become missiles in a wreck. Not that I intend to get involved in one, but it ain't entirely up to me.

I'm a bit bummed by the freight damage, but not enough to go through the warranty service hassle.

From the looks of things there just might be! But luckily I found you guys, first thing I did was hit the FAQ section and will be ordering the kit for it after my long weekend.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone. You guys got some pretty sweet trucks around here.

Just make sure you use new intake bolts. They are Torque To Yield. TTY. They do not cost much but are worth the insurance. Might want to add a new heater bypass hose, thermostat, housing gasket, this is also a good time to do the water pump, clean the egr and replace the cap and rotor if you have any doubts about it. Just easier to get to this way.
GOOD LUCK AND WELCOME TO DODGEFORUM!

Well Purple you were right. I tore 2 upper O rings. So I went and got a set of 4 O ring injector kits. If that makes sense. Installed new upper and lower O rings. All seems good for now. Also think I found my miss. I hope! My #7 cylinder aparently has an issue with the threads on spark plugs cause my plug backed itself out a good ways. Any Idea why it would have done this?
