Well finally got a chance to drop the pan on my tranny today and change the filter...more to come on that..and also changed the oil and filter. I've only had the truck a few weeks and have no clue when the last time either has been done. Also installed a drain plug in the tranny pan while I was at it. No, I didn't get a chance to get any pics yet except for a couple crappy ones with my phone. (I wasn't at home and just got a chance to do the work on the spur of the moment so hadn't planned ahead.) But I've gotta drop the tranny pan again soon so will get some pics then.....Oh yeah, got my build sheet today from Dodge and found out a few things about my truck I didn't know and actually have a couple of questions I'm gonna post in the appropriate place... I hope. So all in all a busy day Dodge-wise.
With the wiring set (an optional part from Glow Shift) you run one set of wires with 12 v power, ground, memory 12v and one set of three wires for instrumentation to the devise being monitored. Gauges have a four or five pin connector that pulgs in. Instructions are very clear and easy. m If you get vac gauge, then you have to run the vac hose with wires. It is very easy.
