I thought about that and kept going back and forth. The good news, it's all 1/4" zinc bolts and washers. If I want to change back out it is no big issue...I have many standard bolts nuts and washers bought by the large box. Thought I would see how it looked black to begin with.

I received the additional carpet samples today. The one I chose (9777 Medium Beige) was not OEM color so vender wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted. They sent me the OEM colors used by Dodge, but they still dod not look correct. I removed the cover from the driver side rear seat supprt and cut a piece of the carpet. It was protected from wear, dirt, and other stains that are so prevalent in the truck.

Comparing to the samples received today, the 9777 was still the closest to the original color.

Too many stains that won't come out along with considerable wear. It is not salvagable. That piece was from under seat bracket beneath the plastic cover, so it is clean. It is slightly darker that the samples, but the 9777 looks close enough. The exposed carpet is not as dark as the long pice in the photo. Some of the stains look like bleach spots. The next challenge will be to fix the worn driver seat!

Thanks. I may hold off installation until after HS Rockers arrive. Don't want to scratch this up doing that work. And of course painting this I have to paint inside of engine bay. Otherwise that will look ugly. May have to dress up engine after that!

I love having a clean engine bay. I always detail when I detail my pickup. It runs better when I do
