redneck_rams 360 build thread
i got the truck in park now, and will adjust the rest of it tomorrow. starting to lose light, and its getting cold. started snowing again WTF! only flurries though(thank god!).
she sounds soooooooo good when revving her up. cant wait to get the custom tune installed, so i can really give it to her....
i have plenty of wire, neighbor has a soldering gun, and solder. just need to get some heat shrink.. for now its disconnected...
hmmmm... well i havent driven it since yesterday, now i need to get another new bushing for the rod that comes down from the steering column.
i set fuel sync to 0 tonight, because it was jumping from 6+ to 8+... but theres an issue. at times when im revving the motor it will backfire through the throttle body. firing order is correct, fuel sync is jumping from -1, to +1. so thats spot on.
any ideas? its very strange! could it be a tune issue?

Only other thing I can think of (long shot) would be if CPS is secure. But then again, I think you would see erratic fuel synch.
Is you Snap ON a MT or MTG? If MTG, maybe graph fuel synch while ruunning and backfire to see what it looks like, then same thing with upstream O2.

also, i just remembered... there was one wire on the upstream o2 that had a portion of bare wire by the base of the sensor. would that cause a problem?

Just solder and shrink wrap isn't going to last.
