Should be interesting to see how my performance pcm handles the stick tranny if I ever get this swap done.
Yeah, that's the only thing I'm worried about. I have the mopar pcm, and I don't think they make a manual one.

What did you do for the breather hose, and do you have a picture of how you shimmed the crank sensor?

The breather hose for the transmission is just a standard 5/16 hosE with a breather cap.

No pics of crank sensor but I shimmer it with two little washers for each bolt. You want just the smallest amount of air visible between the flywheel and sensor. If it's flush it will destroy the sensor.

Do you have a part # for the arp flywheel bolts, and where did you get the pressure plate bolts? I take it the dealership can't get them, and that's why you went with the arp bolts?

Snow

As soon as I can find my parts list I will post them all. I have almost all of the needed numbers. But I can't find the paper right now. Sorry.

Arp was just for the flywheel bolts. Pressure plate bolts were on the shelf at the dealer. They are part of a good clutch job after will.

Well I still can't find my parts list.....

But. If your trans didn't come with the reverse light switch you can use this part

http://m.advanceautoparts.com/mt/shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/carquest-by-bwd-four-wheel-drive-indicator-lamp-switch-s9255/5970059-P

Part number s2995

and this pigtaiL for a T56 and some other Chevy trans.

Also snow. I have read that you can use a manual tps to get rid of that problem I had. I have not looked into this and not sure if it's true for us gassers But I have seen it mentioned a couple times. However, it might just be a diesel thing.....

Row on!

Yeah got the reverse lights working. Just passed state inspection. Been driving it all the time. Shifts great, great clutch pedal. Feels like the truck came from the factory as a manual.

Also, the short throw shifter is working smooth as butter. Not a problem with that piece at all.

Nothing else to say really. Everything regarding the trans swap has been done. No problems to report.

Sweet buddy! Glad to hear it's doing the job. I know you've been wanting this for so long and what a relief.

What do you mean short shifter? Length?

The short throw shifter I got in lieu of the OEM shift tower.

700 bucks vs the 220 for the short throw.

The shifter itself is a little shorter. But its the perfect height to rest my arm on the center console and be able to change all gears comfortably.

I had another pic to show how tall it was but photbucket is being wonky.

Yeah I have been planning and wanting this swap for a long time. I have complete piece of mind to drive my truck anywhere now. And not have to worry about a high mileage auto.

Still loving the Dana 60 and suspension swap though

Maybe next is lift and big tires. Who knows.... Haha
