I'm dedicated to getting that buildsheet. Hopefully the truck will be done tomorrow evening. When I go to pick it up I'm asking for the buildsheet and will wait in the lobby as I wait. Then I'm taking the truck on the highway and getting it into overdrive. I'm going to drive over the bumpy parts of the road and see if the rpms start flaring up. If it does it on time, I'll for sure turn beat red for a moment, and then I'll call my father and ask him to call the lawyer. Or, I could get into the truck and it won't flare up at all no matter how hard of the bumps, and I can go home a happy camper and install my volant intake and HIDs...hmmmm....

I would not have a third party open that thing up at all. As you will probably really be screwed then.

Sorry, you misunderstand. Worse case scenario, he should have it opened up by a third party to see/prove what those guys actually did. But only if the lawyer thinks thats a good idea. And ONLY if they don't satisfy him and ONLY if he seeks legal action. Because obviously a refund will void his warranty as well.

That's true however If I was him I also wouldn't want to pay $1000 or so for a shop to tear it apart to see what's in it. I'd just want my money back.

New morning. Truck is supposed to be done at the end of the day today. I'm calling him around 3 to see if it's ready for pickup. If it is, I'm going down there and asking for a buildsheet. I'm going to take the truck for a test drive and I'll ask them to get me the buildsheet by the time I get back. If I get back and they don't have it yet, I'll wait there. My stomach is in knots right now though. If that truck isn't fixed when I go to drive it, I feel like I'll be in the same situation I was in February, and that's getting a new transmission. As much as I want to smack these guys, I'm hoping they'll have fixed it, and I can just move the hell on as I should have been able to in March. If not though, then it's going to be big a pain in the *** getting these guys to take their unit out, because they've been avoiding it since last winter.

Not that I'd advise doing any of that stuff however a quality transmission should be able to have withstood the little amount he has done so far. I'm not saying it wont greatly shorten the lifespan but for the little amount he has done it shouldn't have messed it up in a matter of months.

they told you it was your big tires that was messin up the trans? what a crock of ****. its about diff gears! thats like the minikie mechanic tellin me that my engine wasnt powerful enough to move my truck, thats why it was misfiring. i looked at him and said, sir are you kidding me? its a 5.9 l rollin through 4.10s. it has plenty of power.

somethin tells me you arnt gettin through to these people. they aint takin you seriously. peformance this peformance that. go in there and say this.

"look buddy. I paied 4 thousand fricken dollars for this transmission. you havent fixed it. you said you would give me a build sheet, I WANT IT NOW! I want the transmission fixed, NOW! If you cant figure it out, then you will replace the transmission with one that works.

MAKE THESE PEOPLE LISTEN TO YOU NEON. DONT BE A PUS.
