yeah I'm with you on building a pack I just think your going a little far by saying there sketchy. I know a bunch of people on PS forum that love them. And I think its a much better solution than AAL and blocks for sure.

Plus zero rates fix the problem. Wouldn't say its a bandaid.

Lol dodge1500 I already said that...

Just because people love it doesn't mean its the right way to do it. No fault on you, I've been building suspension for over 10 years. I know what works, and what doesn't. Why do it halfass when you can do it the right way? 8 inches of lift is getting into the realm of ridiculous already, and using spacers/blocks/add a leaf to attain that height is just asking for a serious accident.

Just my .2

I don't see how that is any different than an AAL. Taking a spring pack, and adding leaves to it?

What's a "G50"?

the skyjacker 7" kit comes with add a leafs and blocks so what difference is it if i use blocks and a add a leaf in the rear i dont see a problem with it and coil spacers why cant you put them on lift springs its not really different from when ou just stick a 2" soil spacer in for the leveling kit? but what should i do to make it a good kit that wont f???ing fall apart. i only paid 200 for everything so not like i got ripped off

Well what are you using this lift for? If your just gunna drive down the road and look cool and throw in a couple of dirt roads then aals are okay. If your going to use it to flex then your going to have to build a pack or do a shackle flip to get the *** up high enough.

coil springs and spacer that high up are meant to work like that. When that high, you need a taller spring and no spacer. 2500 coils are approximately 1.5-2 inches taller than 1500 coils. so get some 2500 coils that are 7 inch lift and that will net you 8.5-9 inches of lift on a 1500 for the front.

Its not going to F up as long as your not ramping it and junk... If your just wanting to dick around with buddys you will be fine.

then put coils and spacer will be fine for the front. Use aals for the back or a skackle flip.

So, what is a g50 pack, and blazer leaves? You guys got me interested in building a spring pack to lift my 2500. I don't want a big lift, just a few inches, but I want to get as much flex as I can out of it.

Is there a guide somewhere online for building leaf packs?
