all together i will have to buy the motor, freeze plugs, and im going to do a gasket set...

total about 730 dollars... vs the 630 bucks to do the 5.2 and tuner

anywhere i can get a torque converter for cheap?

Don't go cheap on the T/C..... Check summit racing, they occasionally have some good deals.

You can use the Torque Converter from the 318, unless you are upgrading. In that case I would call PATC.

yea.. thats what im hearing.. like the TC is 175 at autozone..

are you sure.. cause im having people tellme i cant do that, and then a couple tellin me i can.. from the parts stores they have differant part numbers

Last month I swapped the tranny from my 98 w/318 into my 2000 w/360 without issue, and I plow some with it. I think it's the flex plate you are talking about. Which does need to be the one for the 360.

i think you should get the 318 and build a monster... imo a built 318 is way tougher than a built 360 regardless of the numbers either motor puts out. dont put boost to
it boosted motors dont last.. build all motor.
