I just acciured this 99 dodge 1/2 ton with 5.2l. yesterday the transmision slipped once in an all day driving experience. Now today it slipped every mile for the eight mile ride home. For a second i thought it did it when i hit a bump, that was just a coicedence(/). What might this problem be? help?? did i get a lemon!!??

Common issue on our truck. 9 times out of 10 it is the TPS (throttle position sensor). Do a quick search here and you will find out the procedures for checking it. Im posting from my phone today so I cant get you a link.
Do the test and if it fails replace it. It's cheap and easy, which on our trucks is rare. If you replace it make sure you disconnect the battery first.
EDIT: ---^^Darn HeyYou types fast.
