You can get to the screw and replace the harness/solenoid assembly by removing a plate with a spring inside, on the side of the VB. Don't know what that plate it's called. Then just use a very thin putty knife to hold the spring in and replace that plate.

Yea that's the part, but I'd clean everything first and make sure thats where the leak is coming from. The linkage can leak too, and that seal is replaceable from the outside.
Look for any other "soft goods" to just replace too. Additionally, I'd add studs/bolts/etc. to the list. Always good to come across breaking bolts as a part of disassembly or installation.... ask me how I know.

Welp, the truck is screaming it's outta gas and will be sitting until the leaking part is replaced, I'm gonna clean it up and verify the leak location before I go spending. I did call the local dealer, provided we're talking about the same part they have one in stock for $128.
I'm confident the leak is coming from the TCC/OD Solenoid Assembly but I'm TIRED of fixing the wrong part, so will be checking to be double sure.
Crab a couple cans of brake cleaner, and get all the crap off the side of the trans there. Clean as much as you can. Once it's all nice and clean, take it for a ride, then, follow the trail.
You guys all seen how mucky my dust plate was from the rear main seal and oil pan gasket i did. my tranny kinda looks really dirty like that the connector is pretty caked the way stewies is. how would i clean this with brake cleaner just spray it and rinse it off? or scrub with a brush as well? i want to clean it all but am afraid because of the electrical connectors.
