Help with misfire and bogging down
Gently.
I used a garden hose on my 96 truck. I *really* need to do it on my current truck as well, as the heat just sucks....... I think it is even mislabeling it calling it 'heat'.... More like, '**** warm'....... if it gets that hot. And on the sub-zero days we occasionally get, that REALLY sucks. Supposed to be nice out tomorrow. Maybe I will poke at it.

If there is an air pocket, heat transfer will be really inefficient.
Which I suspect is what we are experiencing. I already changed my thermostat, and the engine does indeed get up to temp, but, the heater isn't nearly as effective as I would like. On a long trip, it will eventually start blowing really hot air, but, if it sits and cools, it's another good distance before it starts working the way I think it should. I believe the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system though, and that makes it kinda difficult to get all the air out.....
