Question

Blown, I have to ask, with all the $$$ youve spent on your truck, wouldnt you have been pushing more ponies (301hp in your video) with an engine swap?

Well, it really all depends on how you look at it. That dyno is really old and my only performance mod was the supercharger, lol. 301 hp at the wheels on a setup than nets 170 hp (what a stock 05 4.7L averages) at the wheels is a really good gain. I really need to get back to the dyno but I keep finding new stuff to play with. Its coming, Trucky and I are looking into splitting a dyno day one day next month.

Look at the stock Dyno #'s like this.
05 Dakota 4.7L RWHP 170
07 R/T Magnum RWHP 265.5 hp
07 Hemi Ram RHWP 250

Mods since the 301 RWHP dyno.
224 Turbo Grind Cams
ASP 3.25" Pulley
69mm Fastman Throttle Body
High Load Beehive Springs
4.10 Gears
Edge 3000 stall
Alcohol Injection
True Dual Exhaust
Solid Tranny Mounts
Engine Torque Dampers
Efan/Controller
Auburn LSD (Install will be next week)

I could have done an engine swap, but I elected to build the 4.7L to see how far I could push it. I pull down over 12psi of boost every WOT run, try that with a Hemi, lol.

Talking Question for Blown and Newmexico

OK, ordered my efan today. Blown, hopefully this has wiring instructions, if not, ill probably need some help. Same to you on the Autozone torqflo Newmexico! (BTW, it was a different seller Blown, Vppartswarehouse. This one had a lifetime warrenty, cost me $49+10/shipping.

Thanks in advance for the help! Cant wait to go back to the track now! Since last run I removed about 100lbs of weight, did the power wire, and modified my CAI for better air flow...

WTEBOY703, I'm not tired at all man. That fan controller is the same one I installed in Trucky's ride and no you won't need the water temp sensor. The SPAL will allow you to piggyback your OEM sensor and that fan is good to go.

ozone45212, different controller have different color wires but all hook up pretty much the same. There will be a wiring diagram explaining where each color wire goes.
