If you were successful in downloading the files for your 4.7L be very careful as we do not have support setup for those models at this time.

We are planning to support them but need more test time. We do not recomend anyone download these files to their 4.7L until we can release a formal statement that they are 100%.

I haven't had the chance to play with shift points yet. I thought the one on the link Sil provided would be a nice starting point, but was a little on the tame side. Buy contrast, I have 'Teach's settings and IMO those are a little too aggressive for my liking. So I am going to work on a happy medium between the two.

I did however go in and re-program and dropped my TM to 20% with the default Superchips shift points. I noticed when setting it on the tuner it states "WOT TM". I know us '04 guys don't have the luxury of setting TM for every shift, but is our TM only operating at our setting at WOT or at ALL throttle positions?

Also, TAKE HEED IN WHAT SCOTT IS SAYING ABOVE 4.7 GUYS! IF THE PEOPLE WHO WRITE THE CODE SAY IT IS NOT READY FOR USE YET --- IT IS NOT READY!!!

Depends on which one you downloaded. If it was Matt's 2004, yeah that one is tame.

Glad you're liking it Hammer!

EDIT: For 2004, the TM setting is a kitchen sink reduction for WOT/PT.

Lol, I thought my settings might be a little too agressive for you. That is the nice thing about te programming, you can dial it in to suit your driving style

yeah 'Teach, like I said I haven't had the time to even do anything but reduce TM, but on paper, I can see that yours are a little aggressive. Now if I had a lowered 2wd "track truck" maybe, but not on a 7000# off-road pig...

So, it appears as if everything went through and was loaded...website says it is installed...but I am not able to find where to install the new option from my 3865 to my truck. Am I just ****ing blind??? Or did the download not go through and is not showing up as an option on my tuner?
