Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
Alright, I know this has probably been covered so I'm sorry but I'm looking to do a 3/5 or 4/5 drop to level out the truck and I really love the lowered look. I've got 20"s on it and after looking at the front it just doesn't seem like there will be enough room. Would I need to get lower profile tires to accomplish this with zero rub?

If you want zero rub, a set of 285/40/20 is required.
Hi new to the forum just recently bought a 2006 1500 big horn QCSB 4x4 I bought some 24s for it runnin 295/45/24 tires and hate the fender gap been looking at mcGaughys 2/4.5 drop it states it's for 2wd only but I don't see why it won't work the rear suspension is the same as a 2wd and the front drop is just drop springs? So in my opinion it should be fine any thoughts?
im about to lower my truck and i a going with the 2/4.5 set up which will be spindles and shackles/flip kit out back. my question is with doing the flip kit house the truck ride i have had alot of experience with lowering vehicles but i have yet to do my own with a flip kit. also when you are towing or haulling stuff how does the truck do, no i don't use it to haul on a regular basis so im not to worried about it but yes its still a truck so occaissionly i will have to tow so thats why y curious if i should stay away from the flip kit and save for 3" leaf springs with 2" shackles.
I know this is an unusual question but im having difficulty finding an easy solution. I now pull a 5th wheel RV w/gooseneck on my 2004 2500 4x2. The trailer is raised as far as it will go without using a cutting torch and adding 5" channel on both sides. I was thinking of buying a new ram 2500 4x4 and somehow getting it with down to 4x2 height without losing comfort in ride but yet having the 4x4 function. I never plan on doing the "off road" bit other than campgrounds that accomodate RV's. Is there any simple "low cost" solution. Thanks
