Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
get a set of 2" drop shackles but you will still be a little higher in the back. you can remove the overload springs for it to be closer to level. the difference is about 3/4".

I was looking to do a 2/4 drop on my ram, 04 RCSB. I already did the 2" shackle and clamped the front half of the leaf springs to get it level but I would like to have it dropped just a little more.
I want to get a true 2/4 drop, where in Memphis can I get that done? Does anyone know anyplace that can do it? I guess the next time I see a lowered Ram I should chase them down and ask them where they got it done, lol.
Hey all, Im looking to do a 2/4 drop on my quad cab and iv pretty much decided on the mcgrughys 2/4 spindle kit. I was wondering what tires should i get for that set up sine obviously my 35s are not going to fit. my wheels are 17x9 with 5.39 bs and +10 offset. I was thinking of just going back to stock with a 265/70r17 that would put me at about a 31x10.5 or i could get the 245/70r17 but i really dont want a 9 inch wide tire. What do you suggest
