you can buy bixenon harnesses off ebay for about 10 to 15 bucks. no need to rig and build one.

Those are links of items that always pop up but are no different than the resistors we use to trick the FCM/PCM

I'm having an issue with my HID's, I have an 07 and purchased and installed an HIDEXTRA (dual beam HID Bi-Xenon kit) about 8 months with no problems!

now all of a sudden only the high beams work??

that is what i have the canbus digital bixenon from hidextra. it works just plugged in to the headlight system, no strobing or anything. just a bulb out coede on the dash. a relay with this system wont work thought unless u use resistors (see above)

Now are you guys using the 35w or 55w with resistors? Also are they digital ballast or not. I am just looking for a new and fresh start.

if 35 watt is enough then i think i will use them over 50 watts.

Also, instead of using the resistors, (i keep hearing how hot they can get sometimes) since i dont mind the bulb out light in the dash, i am going to power my relay from the parking lights as a trigger. i never use the parking lights w/o the headlights anyways.

you are failing to realize the reason for resistors are two-fold. first and foremost is to simulate oem bulbs. if you do that then you wont get a lamp out light
