The leather problem is why I went with cloth.

But then you can't have the cooled seats and the cooled seats are awesome. Plus, I prefer sitting on leather.

Finally got to see the district manager today. He took some pictures of the seats and said he would take them to the engineers. I told him the dealer had done that months ago and he said "let me do it."

He said that if no plans are made to change the design then they will replace all the seats with katskins. I can't argue with that, I hope dodge doesn't plan on changing it so I'll get the katskins. He acted like this was the most probable scenario and didn't think they would change the seats. I don't think he was full of bs like the dealer, he gave us his business card.

BTW these seats aren't leather. If they are then they did an excellent job making leather look and feel like vinyl.

Probably "bonded leather". Basically vinyl mixed with leather fibers. What I mean by leather fibers is the all the low grade leftovers that are discarded and ground up for this type of material. Alot of car seats are made out of it now.
I've seen car seats that are real leather and leather this isn't

I have the the same issue with mine, have not had it replaced but the dealer has been notified, if they replace yours with Katskinz find out from the DM how the rest of us can go about it or if they are going to make this policy for everyone with the issue nationwide, I just refuse to have it done until they have a fix for it. If you can get his name and contact so we can reference him through other dM and regional managers.

If this works out for me someway then I'll certainly post his information for you all. He is supposed to find something out by the end of the week with the engineers. I'm sure the chrysler guys want me to get the word out anyway

I have the same heated and cooled leather seats and have no problem at all in 9000 miles. I have an early build date not sure exactly I don't have fuelsaver light or locking tail gate.

My story:
I have an early build (10/08) Sport QC. Took delivery late Nov. '08.
Heat/vent seats.
By January '09, the driver side seat developed some wringles & ridges where my right rear wallet pocket contacted the seat. This condition continued for weeks until I put in a seat cushion. Kept that in until June. Took cushion out and low-and-behold, ridges had disappeared. They've been gone all summer long! Will see what happens when the weather gets cold again.

The wrinkles go away in mine overnight. I just don't like being able to grab a hand full of vinyl off my seat from it being so loose
