Blue2050, have you got anywhere lately regarding the seat wear issue. I am having the same problem with the leather stretching and getting VERY wavy. My drivers seat looks much worse than your pictures above.

I would be IRATE! Why are they saying that it is taking so long? What does your seat look like now, has is gotten worse?

I have a 2010 Sport on order with these seats, so I am praying to the gods that my seats hold up. It is too late for me to change my order, but worst case scenario is that I will file suit against them and make them may for katzkin's.

That's weird, I had them order a bottom cover for mine because it had a small tear between two holes, it came in four days later. This was last week. What color interior do you have?

They are a vendor ship item, so once you order them, they are shipped from the manufacturer of the seats.

There is a superseded part number for them, so maybe you need to address the issue again.

Maybe it's because I'm Lemon-Lawing my truck.

How's that going? Have you already brought your truck to the dealer enough times or are they just stalling you right now?

Might I suggest for your next that you get the bench seat. My leather seat covers in my Laramie still look like new after 12k miles. Anyway, good luck with your dealings with Chrysler.

This is my first (and last) Dodge. I've had leather seats in my last 4 GM trucks and have never had an issue like this. This problem happened at 7500 miles and all my other trucks had over 120,000 miles on them and other than wear (no tears) the seats looked fine.

I wanted bucket seats since I feel that they feel more supportive - if I knew that leather bucket seats in a Dodge mean that they tear at the perforations I wouldn't have bought a Dodge. An expensive lesson (especially since none of the other dealers including Dodge will give me squat for the truck).

It's unfortunate that you and so many others are having this seat issue. I have been lucky enough to have 0 issues with my seats so far. Each car/manufacturer has their problems and each unique vehicle is different.

My corvette and the wife's H3 have/had each made more trips to the dealer for issues than all 3 of the Dodge trucks I have owned combined.

But there's nothing wrong with GM trucks. I personally can't stand 1500 Chevy's, but the GMC's are nicer and the Allison tranny that comes with the Duramax is pretty nice.
